GMK Pressure Seal Globe Valve

As the name implies, GMK Pressure Seal Valves are designed for use in high-pressure, high-temperature environments with virtually any fluid, with the exception of those with the potential for severe choking. The construction materials and design of pressure seal valves make them ideal for usage in nuclear steam generating stations, industrial/chemical plants, and thermal power plants. When it comes to flow passage and sealing, Pressure Seal Valves excel, while also conserving weight, being simple to install, and requiring little to no upkeep.

Even when a large amount of pressure is flowing through the valve, the stem of a GMK globe valve is able to function normally without being forced to the side. There is less wear and tear on both the packing and the stem itself because the stem does not turn. Because of this, the valve is able to firmly and smoothly close even when subjected to high pressures.

  • Forgings or castings of high strength are used to construct the body.
  • Because of the guidance provided by the body, the disc, the seat, and the body all have a longer lifespan.
  • To ensure a safe shutdown, use the handwheel located on the impactor.
  • An excellent seal can be provided by the stem seal for extended periods of time with very little to no maintenance required at all.
  • When employing a stem that does not rotate, the amount of torque that is required is reduced.
  • At the point of contact with the seat and along the guiding surfaces of the disc, both the body and the disc have been hard-faced with a CoCr alloy in order to provide the highest possible level of protection against erosion and wear.
  • The use of live-loaded packing can extend the low-emission service life, particularly in situations where there are large pressure/temperature transients or frequent cycling. This is because live-loaded packing is more resilient to the effects of these types of stresses.
