DESCRIPTION

Cryogenic ball valves are ball valves that have been modified to have special properties so that they may be used at very low temperatures. The one-piece, strong stem of the cryogenic design is held together at its core by a Polyfill thrust bearing and a split ring made of stainless steel. As a direct consequence of this, it is not only risk-free to use but also generates far less friction while in use. Insulation is provided in a uniform manner using polyfill cushions. The use of an orientable stem/ball connection in conjunction with an upstream hole in the ball is what ultimately leads to the achievement of positivity.

Benefits

Positive ball cavity relief, which consists of a relief hole bored upstream from the ball, is one method that protects against overpressure brought on by thermal expansion.
On all extended stem valves with a diameter of 2 inches or bigger, the ball will always be in the right position since the stem is a single piece and includes an alignment pin.
