Single-disc Swing Wafer Check Valve allows unrestricted flow. The valve body, the bonnet, and the disc are the three basic elements that make up a check valve. These elements are all connected to a hinge in some way. The disc slides away from the valve seat to allow flow in one direction. When the flow in the upstream direction is stopped, the disc travels back to its original position to prevent backflow. This valve has overall smooth functionality.

DESCRIPTION

Single-disc Swing Wafer Check Valve is unguided in the sense that it either opens or closes entirely; there is no intermediate state. Its single disc and seat combinations are available to meet the requirements of a number of different uses. This valve opens all the way to allow for the greatest possible flow and then closes automatically when the pressure in the system reduces. When there is no longer any flow, the valves are closed entirely to prevent flow in the opposite direction. There is a little amount of turbulence and pressure loss caused by the valve.
