The housing and the GMK Three Way Thread Ball Valve are both made of the same material, which is 1.4408. In line with Directive 2014/34/EU, it has been established that PTFE and FKM are both suitable options for use as sealing material. The dimensions that were submitted to us are subject to our right to make modifications. Every item is developed and manufactured by Article 4.3 of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. This is done throughout the whole product production process. Products with nominal diameters of more than 25 mm up to and including 32 mm are prohibited from being used for pumping liquid or gaseous fluids that fall under category 1 following the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU (hazardous).

DESCRIPTION

GMK’s Three-Way Thread Ball Valve with nominal diameters bigger than 32 millimeters may only be used for pumping liquid fluids that fall into category 2 of the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. This restriction applies solely to non-hazardous liquids. This limitation is only valid for liquids that are not considered dangerous. If it is used in combination with other types of media, Schwer Fittings’ authorization must be requested.
