DESCRIPTION

GMK Swing Check Valves derive their name from the fact that they typically have a body and a closure member or disc that “swings” or pivots around a hinge pin. This gives the valve its characteristic movement. Because this valve is likely to experience vibration and wear while in operation, it needs to be equipped with stabilization spheres at the ends of the pins to eliminate the possibility of pin vibration. In most cases, the robust seat is shaped to the body as well as the spoke that traverses the body.
