GMK Equipped Flange Bi-direction Knife Gate Valve has a sleeve of the completely new design, with a slot in the upper half to allow for motion of the gate, ensuring full tightness despite a low coefficient of friction. The sleeve is kept in place by two seat rings, which not only provide support but also direct the gate’s movement. The resilient seat is a sleeve made of elastomer, which may also be made of a variety of other materials. It includes an easy-access packing gland that ensures a tight seal and is made of standard PTFE-impregnated synthetic fibre (ST) with an EPDM O-ring for improved shut off.
